Practicum Presentation

1. There is a lot of interaction between the different players, some people even join different 'clans' for some games. Do you think this makes online networked gaming a virtual community?

2. Do you think playing xbox live, or other networked video games is a viable way to keep in touch with old friends? What about for making new friends?

3. Looking at it from a political economy approach, do you think that companies/games like madden, or COD, should continue to sell the game for full price ($60) and then make you pay more for extras (maps, game add-ons, etc.) that usually range from 5-15 dollars?
