I haven't yet made any practicum posts but I'm presenting today and saw that I should have made this yesterday.... Anyways, I'm presenting on Internet Users and audiences. The group of users/ audience that I have is support groups and social/ political activists. In my time spent trying to find, using, and trying to become apart of the different websites, there are aspects, due to the nature of the category involved, that make it seem as if these users served well on the internet or that the internet might be harmful to their causes in a sense. So heading into discussion today, I would ask you to think of some things that might make internet support groups and social/political activist groups on the internet, not such a good thing.
